Six BTI INTERNA® Narrow implants placed through a pin-fixed surgical guide and restored on straight MULTI-IM® abutments — a lower jaw prepared for a screw-retained full-arch prosthesis, planned on the CBCT before the first incision.

The CBCT from Photon Scan was reconstructed in 3D and the six implants were positioned for a screw-retained full-arch restoration on straight MULTI-IM® abutments. Dr. Dina Abed at Photon Dental Lab then designed the surgical guide around them, held in place by three lateral fixation pins.

All six are BTI INTERNA® Narrow implants. The longest, at Ø3.5 and Ø3.75 mm, sit in the denser front of the jaw; shorter Ø4.25 mm ones go toward the molars, where the density readings were lowest. Every site carries a straight MULTI-IM® abutment for the full-arch restoration.

Bone density is the planning software's mean grey value inside each planned implant, on its HU scale (D1 > 1250 · D2 850 – 1250 · D3 350 – 850 · D4 < 350). CBCT grey values depend on the scanner's calibration, so they are an estimate, not a calibrated measurement.
Three lateral fixation pins (Ø1.5 × 20 mm) hold the guide on one reference for every osteotomy and insertion. Its custom sleeves sit 9.02 mm above the implant platform at 33, 34, 43 and 44, and 10.52 mm at 36 and 46.
With MULTI-IM® abutments on all six implants, the arch is ready for a screw-retained full-arch restoration. This page will follow the case to its prosthetic result.
